The Daffodil Principle

Happy June,

These glorious sunny days are such a welcome treat after the lengthy cool of the past winter.

Did you get to enjoy the Daffodils this year? Their season is sooooo short and so beautiful. I LOVE Daffodils!!!  Every Spring they come and go and I promise to plant more next Fall.  I have to admit that most Falls I miss my moment to plant them, too busy, too many other “incredibly important” (or are they) things going on, too many blah, blah, blah, well you get it..   The things that kept me occupied, most of the time, I can not even recall when Springtime and Daffodil season returns.  The Daffodils emerge from the cool earth, as delightfully promising and bright as always.  Then I wish I had taken the time to plant more of them last Fall…..   The video below is a sweet story that reminds me that even tho I may have missed a few Daffodil seasons it is never to late to start planting the seeds of what I would like to grow….  and not just gardens……..

What do you love that you wish you would have taken the time to plant?
Why not begin now?

“One day at a time and one small and seemingly insignificant step at a time
yields the most incredible harvest when it’s done intentionally and consistently.
Keep on keepin on. It’s more powerful than you may realize.”

The Daffodil Principle video/story was shared with me a number of years ago by Mickey Rosa, a dear friend and fellow yogi who turns 85 this June. She will be celebrating with friends later this month.  If you know Mickey and want to attend or wish her a Happy Birthday, please let me know and I will happily share the details with you.

Wishing you a bright and peace-filled day,
Bonnie
